It was a quiet week for our juvenile section with only two official fixtures in the calendar. However the coming week is action packed with a huge number of fixtures on the schedule. U6: Sars U6 players of the week this weekend, Jack, Charlie & Oisin! Keep up the good work!
U13: Our U13s took on Ballincollig on 29th July in Kiely Park in the U13 hurling league. Full time score Sars 6:13 Ballincollig 0:07
U16: U16 Premier 2 Championship was played in Kilworth on Bank Holiday Monday 03rd August. Kilworth Araglen Og were the opposition. Full time score Kilworth Araglen Og 1:12 Sars 0:12.
U16 Div 4A Championship takes place this Wednesday at home in Páirc Tadhg Mac Cárthaigh.

Adult News:
Our Seniors were the first adult fixture of the weekend. Unfortunately the result did not go Sars way and Charleville were victorious on the night. This is the first of the group games so all is still to play for. Next outing is against Newtownshandrum in Mallow in three weeks. Full Time score Charleville 0:21 Sars 0:19
Our Intermediate team took on Erins Own on Sunday 02nd August in Cobh in round 1 of the Championship. This was a battle from start to finish. There were some inspiring performances from Sars on the day, the result a 3 point win at full time. Full time score Sars 3:17 Erins Own 3:14
The final adult fixture of the weekend was Round 1 of Junior A hurling Championship back in Cobh. Carrigtwohill the opposition. Conditions were tough with the return of heavy rain. Sars battled hard but a late goal just before full time meant Carrigtwohill came away with the points. Full time score Carrigtwohill 1:15 Sars 0:17

Poc Fada Success: Congratulations to Sars Camogie player Molly Lynch as she won an incredible sixth women's M. Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada title in a row today on Annaverna Mountain in Louth.
